Vivian and Luis have very different interest, personalities and dreams. You can say they are ultimate opposites in everyway.
What is that saying "Opposites Attract"
Until a little gift came into their lives. Saturn Alexis a beautiful 2 month old puppy who created a bond with each of them This little girl showed them unconditional love and compassion.
When we went into the store to just look we were given the smallest, furriest and cutest fawn with black markings pug.
We cuddled her for a while then decided to put her on the floor and the first thing she did was walk over to Luis and peed right on his shoe. We laughed forever and we still talk about it today. Luis said I guess this is the one and we took her home that day.
The rest is history!

At the beginning Luis mentioned moving on to the next level in the relationship and discussed marriage. Vivian wasn't ready for that next step but....
Fourteen years later it was decided that it was time.
This quote by James Dobson is so true to our story:
"Don't marry the person you think you can live with; marry only the individual you think you can't live without."
After 14 years I think we are sure we can't live without eachother.
Vivian and Luis met each other through mutual friends after he started working in the IT department at Chubb Institute.
They hung out in groups going to dinners and drinks with the work crew.
1st Date was an entire year after they met and it was not fancy, they wanted to be in a relaxed setting to get to know each other outside of the work relationship, so they went to a local diner in Bay Ridge Brooklyn, NY.
The connection and conversation was strong and One date a week, moved to two, then three dates a week.
When we weren't on a date; we were on the phone constantly.
After a few years of dating we decided it was time to move our relationship to the next level and we moved in together.
After yet another year we decided to adopt our puppy (Saturn Alexis). She is truly a dream for both of us and she is spoiled beyond belief.
Here we are 14 years later and still able to enjoy eachothers company.
On April 16, 2016 we decided to finally get married. We have always known that we would spend the rest of our lives together, we realized early on that even through ups and downs we are soulmates.
Luis is a hardworking, dependable man with a laid back personality.
Raised and born in Brooklyn, New York. He has two adult children (Jessica & Daniel). Loving parents and a wonderful sister and brother-in law that live in Delaware. Also an older brother and his family that live in Hawaii.
Vivian being a city girl at heart! Moved from Fort Worth, Texas to New York CIty to chase her dreams of living a fast paced, exciting life.
Her wonderful parents Anita and Allen still live in Texas in the city of Fort Worth. She has her brother, confidant and friend Allen Jr. Her intelligient, outgoing & beautiful baby sister Vanessa.
Of course we must not forget her baby (Saturn Alexis) an adorable fawn colored pug dog.
